Devotion
Simple guides for praying the Rosary, novenas, and other devotions.
The Rosary is prayed in sets of decades, each meditating on a mystery from the life of Christ and Our Lady. The four sets of mysteries are:
Prayed traditionally on Mondays and Saturdays — the Annunciation, the Visitation, the Nativity, the Presentation, and the Finding in the Temple.
Prayed traditionally on Tuesdays and Fridays — the Agony in the Garden, the Scourging, the Crowning with Thorns, the Carrying of the Cross, and the Crucifixion.
Prayed traditionally on Wednesdays and Sundays — the Resurrection, the Ascension, Pentecost, the Assumption, and the Coronation of Mary.
Prayed traditionally on Thursdays — the Baptism of the Lord, the Wedding at Cana, the Proclamation of the Kingdom, the Transfiguration, and the Institution of the Eucharist.
